D A Hawaiian Bbq - Santa Maria

The portions are huge. Food was good. Bathroom was clean!

One of two hawaiian bbq in town. My preference is this one, it's closer to me. not as extensive a menu as the other place, but it has your staples and they are good.

I have got to stop eating the food before I take the picture this was so good it's fresh and they gave me a lot of food I was expecting to be cheated out of my money like most hawaiian barbecue places but this one gave me more food than I was expecting so I have no complaints on the price. Macaroni salad could use some salt. Staff was fast and friendly. Clean facility. If im ever in Santa Maria again i will return.

It was okay. What I most look forward to in a Hawaiian restaurant is the meat, the sauce and the Mac salad. Here the meat was ok it wasn’t dry or under cooked but it wasn’t well seasoned. The sauce felt too watery for the teriyaki and the Katsu sauce was a bit bland. The Mac salad was not very good maybe it had a little too much mayo/miracle whip and IMO needed some black pepper.

PAID EXTRA MONEY FOR MORE SHORT RIBS AND THIS IS WHAT THE COOKS GIVE ME?! Is this a joke like honestly the cooks need to stop acting selfish as if they pay for the meal . The ladies behind the register are amazingly friendly and professional but the cooks need to get fired . didn’t even seem like they cared when I brought it to there attention just laughed about it as if they knew what they’re doing . Well I guess I’ll be eating bones tonight .
