Monte-Rosa - Sankt Niklaus

A beautiful and good mixed salad (all fresh! without snaplame!) and a beautiful and good valesana cheese tart.

Sure it is not a restaurant that you would just choose. but it was the closest day. in the heart of the village, large terrace and thanks to the construction site which is now also over is very quiet.I didn't expect anything and thought just me. yes a 08:15 restaurant. I had a very fine cheesecut and had to change my mind. as it may be, sio is more ingenious that eat. I remember there at a restaurant in sölden which was exactly the reverse, outside hui inside pfui....Manko? no direct parking space for fast passing by.

We arrived at this restaurant in st. niklaus. to welcome us the owner, who besides serving also takes care of the kitchen. we ate some excellent roasts, very nice and characteristic environment

Stumbled across this restaurant by accident - what a find! Easily the best fondue I have every had. Traditional atmosphere and feels like it is home cooking. Very friendly staff.

As is often the case in Switzerland, looks can be deceiving. This place looks ok - nothing special but our meal was excellent. Best Kaeseschnitte I have had and a decent roesti. A pretty good Coupe Danmark for Dessert finished off a good value meal.
