Executive Lounge

We've always had the intercotinental spa as a great city escape, but this time around there were several issues: 1. the jacuzzi water handles were both broken so there was no way to open form old water or even to fill up the low water, 2. when we came out there were to towels in the changing area only a mess of towels all over the floor, 3. No one had filled up the water in the changing area outside of the sauna, 4. The overall changing area was very messy. I give the 3 stars only because the massage itself was good.

The staff is very friendly, we paid for the bachelor party package, I was going with my best friend, they separated us during the massage and the facial, so we didn't spend much time together, it's something to ask when booking and that I didn't do, I assumed that we were going to be together and share at least during the facial, although it was very relaxing. We changed the drink from a sangria to a smoothie because we did not drink alcohol and they gave us a fresh blackberry, without flavor and a presentation that was not at all celebratory, something to take into account and improve on the part of the Spa. The package included the use of the facilities but at reception they gave us to understand that since the hotel was not full we could use the pool, when in fact the package said that we could use the external pool, it was better to verify this before of paying a high amount for access to the outdoor pool and then not being given it. If you go as a couple, you cannot use the spa pools as a couple, as they are separated between men and women. There are quite a few pools outside the Spa but the water was very cold at 3pm. Otherwise everything is fine, there are lockers to store things and the massage is good.

The treatment is spectacular, super professional, my husband and I have already been several times. They have a little bit of cough. Recommended for a special occasion
