Bidra med feedbackOur dinner was perfect. The lomo palomillo beef tenderloin was cooked to medium well perfection and paired with a delicious wine sauce. Homemade mashed potatoes, delicious and perfect. Thinly julienned vegetables, delicious and perfect. Freshly squeezed lemonade, refreshing and perfect. Our server, Tania, made excellent recommendations and was pleasant and attentive.
Never again, overpriced, tasteless, bad quality and the chef apparently no experience since the food has this low standard. DO BETTER NOT EAT HERE !! Steak thin and dry, no medium like ordered. I eat the same before in a small restaurant next to the road in Quepos and it was half the price and waaaaay better.
This is my third trip in three months. Breakfast sets you up for the day, dinner is good, staff are great. During the day hang at the El rancho restaurant with the team, great food, great service. Orlando and Carlos the best
The setting was pleasant. Food quality was very good. Prices were reasonable. Service however, was inconsistent. I found the morning/afternoon staff to be very attentive. They were quick to get me a menu, ask if I would like coffee, take my order, and even refill my coffee. The evening dining experience was different. It took a while to be given a menu and when it came to ordering another item (lE: a glass of wine), I had to really try hard to get the attention of a server. As a businessman, I found this interesting since customers are likely to spend much more for evening meals; additional servings of wine would also yield good profits. Of the two restaurants at the hotel, food quality (and variety) is better at this one. There is great potential here, if only service standards were more uniform and like those of the morning staff.
The menu lacks more variety in seafood but the food is quality and well prepared, the attention is first class, the prices are some a little high. You have complimentary coffee and a free house consommé.
