Sal E Pepe - San Rafael de Escazu

Excellent!! We went because the wife wanted pizza, and while driving around, we stumbled upon this great little place. Temperature check and hand wash is the routine, and then patio, upstairs or downstairs based off of availability. On to the food we had the Sale e Pepe and small vegetarian pizzas, and they were great!! Perfect size for two. If I wasn't hungry, there would have been leftovers . The desert was a cherry tiramisu of sorts, minus the coffee flavor and just enough chocolate for me (not a big fan of lots of chocolate on deserts). We are putting this on our return list if in the area. CC and cash accepted the only downfall we saw was the bathrooms were upstairs, and if you were elderly or had issues climbing stairs, you might have a problem.

Absolutely delicious!! Not pricey at all and great taste in all the menu. 1000% recommended

Very large menu of pastas and pizzas at reasonable prices. Serving portions were adequate but a bit small for those with a big appetite. Service was friendly attentive. Order was on the table very quickly.

Fantastic pizza! Thin crust and cooked well. Ordered on Uber eats. Would order again.
