Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant is central located. The service was ok, but the staff came every 5 minutes to see if we are finished with our meal, that was really irritating The Creollo Style Soup was good. My fish dish was nearly tasteless. The staff came again and asked if it was good and I told her in spanish that it wasn't and it hasn't so much taste and she really asked me if it was my first attempt to eat in the restaurant and the first attempt for this fish dish. I was irritated what this strange question was for. After dinner I felt not really well, I had a lulled feeling in my stomach. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant.
We found the Valicha by searching for restaurants near our hotel (Hotel Aranjuez). By the way the restaurant at the Hotel is great, we just wanted some variety and somewhere to walk to. The Valicha serves good food, good salads, in a nice “local” atmosphere. I asked for something super simple and not that “Peruvian” — milanesa de pollo — but it had a very nice taste, and the salad was also quite good. The star of the night was the desert though: the “suspiro limeño” was absolutely great. I was licking the cup at the end.
I have been coming to Valicha for several years now and I always found it to be an average Peruvian restaurant, but I recently visited and I gound it greatly improved and worthy of being recommended. The menu has expanded and the quality of the food has improved greatly. It is still a bargain, but do not be fooled by the reasonable prices as the food and the drinks are excellent. I recommend the seafood, but I am certain that any of the Peruvian specialties they serve will leave you delighted.
The food was extremely tasty and authentic and the pisco sours were really good to! Service was great when I was there. Would defiantly recommend!
Great value for money here especially the roasted chicken flours
