La 22 Gastronomia - San Jose

Is just a place you don't think could be in the middle of San Jose. The place is amazing and the food stands for the location. The only downpoint its kitchen wise, is a bit slow than common but the food compensate that one.

Fire Power! Great tuna tacos! Well-balanced and perfectly crafted. All Costarican ingredients. Congrats to the chef. Very well done!

This is a great restaurant with top-quality food and a diverse menu. The service is good and the prices are fair for the quality of the food. I hope they can obtain a liquor license soon, as many of their dishes would pair well with wine.

Second visit. This time for breakfast. Amazing again. The Huevos Rancheros were delicious. The traditional breakfast was also great with a decent portion size.Pie de limon: the best we have tried in the country. It offers an art exhibition so the ambiance is very pleasant to the eye.

I visit La 22 with my wife for afternoon coffee break. The service is excellent and the place very European. Organic ingredients bought from local producers. Relaxing ambiance great to relax and enjoy.
