Bidra med feedbackWe stopped for dinner on the way to our lodgings on the Ile d'Orleans, and we were pleasantly surprised by the creative cuisine.
The outside isn't much to look at and it's very simply decorated inside but the food was amazing! Our hotel suggested this little place and we are glad they did. The portions were a nice size, not huge. The house salad dressing is yummy and the meals were hot not lukewarm like we've had before. The waitress was able to communicate well in English and was very sweet.
Pour le souper, restaurant assez vide en début de semaine mais serveuse très acceuillante, gentille et à l'écoute, donne de bons conseils sur le menu.Nourriture un peu trop salée et prix un peu élevés mais tout de même bon
We stopped here for breakfast on the way to the maritimes. it was early on a saturday morning. I had poached egg ,my husband had classic over easy and my daughter did the eggs benedictine. Everything was delicious. from the coffee to the special spread of rhubarb and strawberry that was supplied. Coffee was served as we sat down, a fact I appreciate. Service was excellant. Will make this one a regular stop.
We were weary about this place based on other reviews, but not wanting to go to a fast food joint, we decided to give this place a try. Cute, cozy, with great service. I had the sautéed shrimp dish with rice and hubby had a homemade burger with a traditional poutine. Our bill came to $37 with tax including drinks. For a pit stop, I'd recommend this place over any of the other options on this rest stop off the highway!
