Saltgrass Steak House - Rockwall

Saturday night at 6pm? Very busy... but worth it. Best filet mignon I have enjoyed in a long time.

The carrot does not measure up to what you get at Saltgrass in Mesquite. Steaks were good.

This afternoon we went to Saltgrass Steak House for what we thought would be a great meal as before, that was the first time for us to go. But today that did not happen. I had a filet mignon that was supposed to be medium with broccoli and potato soup, which was cold. My steak was tough, not anything close to a medium and my soup, well, was just cold. His steak was okay, but his fries were very hard and cold. We got there about 3:30, our order went in about 3:40. We were waiting and waiting for our food, then someone came to our table to let us know there was a mix up and it was delayed. It was already about 4:20, still did not have food, we just wanted to go. We just wanted it to go, by that time it was about 4:30. We decided we will not be going back. Very disappointing.

Today was my father in laws birthday and he loves a good steak. Was an easy choice for a restaurant and we weren’t wrong. Food was great and he even got a cheesecake for his birthday. Thank you Saltgrass.

We have been members of Landry Select for years, Everything was wonderful today! Our hostess Gabby did an exceptional job. Very friendly and helpful. On her toes to help us with leftovers as we were leaving! Order of Laredo Chicken Shrimp dinners were very good!! We normally eat steak, but we were very pleased with our choices! The manager Trevor was friendly and we told him what a great job Gabby did!! Thanks for great meal service! Always recommend people join The Club. Nice benefits! Check it out!
