Bidra med feedbackHad dinner here for the first time 2 months ago and have been back 5 times since. The food is fresh, delicious and consistent. Everything I've tried on the menu so far is exceptional. The gobi manchurian is out of this world. If you like Indian food you need to give them a try.
We pass through Rockwall a few times a year. This time our go-to spot was closed so we opted for curry. The place is quaint, but it's clean, the service is good, and the food is delicious. We got the Butter Chicken and the Chicken Tikka Masala with rice and Naan. They ask you what spice level you prefer (mild, medium or hot) so you're not stuck with a certain dish at a certain spice level as a lot of other curry places I've been to do. The food was just so good, would definitely go here again. I feel like I have a solid alternate go-to spot for the area now.
I tried the goat biryani and it was decent. The rice needed a tiny bit more flavor , the goat meat was soft and tasty. The raita sauce was average, however the masala sauce was better tasting. Over all its really good I wouldn't say it's the best but I might definitely try it again.
Modest place that covers the basic North Indian staples. Good for those wanting a quick takeaway on their way home. Spice levels can be customized upon request. There are three lunch combos each with an incremental overladen serving spoon. The termBistro is probably a nod to some socio-economic group but has no relevance to an authentic use of the term.
Big pieces of chicken. Tasty curry. Generous serving. Agree with other reviewer that cleanliness (restroom area) needs improvement
