Bidra med feedbackDate of assessment: 15. August 2016 A rustic coffee house that serves a variety of products. I stopped while I went to Jumer’s Casino and was pleasantly surprised by the antiquity and rustiness of Theos. It is full of wooden furniture and older signs and decor. They offer the typical coffee varieties along with some baked goods and a menu. I had only one coffee (this time black) and it was good. Not stellar, but it was black, so what can you expect? The menu looked good, but I had food before I went here, so I wasn't hungry. The staff was friendly and gave great service despite something busy. Overall, it was a nice little coffee house and if I lived in the area, I would often visit it. I love the old antique feeling.
Fun Stop on my trip to Alaska. Some interesting/unique coffee options. Have fun on the walls including local history. I even made a picture of the ground because it was so cool! They have an area with a stage for music, but no one played at that time. You could probably live out your dreams by singing or playing there when no one is there (it is safer so) Once you go your coffee to walk the small city center and check out the cute buildings, painted benches and rivers that are all very close. Helps burn these latte calories and stretch your legs.
Super sweet local coffee house! Breakfast sandwiches are AMAZING. Iced coffee was not diluted. Iced chai had a lot of cinnamon. Nice, quiet place to sit on a Saturday morning. Originally it went to the pancake place around the corner, but it was so packed. We found this place and we have SO GLAD. I love it!
I am a former employee of Theo's Java Club, worked there in 1999-2000. I've been through the pictures, and everything looks like it did at the time. A few new characters, windows, a new decor, and the same big coffee and food. I loved this place if I worked or you with my young child. I made many great friends and met so many wonderful people. Rhonda was my manager at the time and she taught me the secrets and wonders of coffee, from the best cuppa to the cold brew and how it produces the taste of coffee. The best time of my career.
When I say this is the cutest, coziest little coffee shop and diner, you best believe me that I’m not exaggerating! You can sit at the counter, you can sit in a booth, you can sit in a comfy armchair. You can count on friendly locals congregating as well as an extensive menu. The atmosphere of this place can’t be beat, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. On top of all of that, my latte—the daily special—was phenomenal! I can’t recommend this place enough, whether for breakfast or lunch! Whenever I’m next in Moline, this is where you’ll be able to find me.
