Taste Of Ethiopia - Davenport

An authentic Ethiopian restaurant full of taste. I'm so happy to finally try this place. The food came hot and fresh, the portions were perfect, and the taste was delicious. I also ordered Ethiopian black tea and donuts. I'm ready to go back and eat more. The prices are decent and the service was a pleasure. Thanks for the experience!

I've eaten here a few times and never left a review. The food is absolutely amazing. The staff is extremely helpful and will answer all the questions you have. The spicy lenses are here! Get them that you will not be disappointed, provided you will not be disappointed in everything you get.

More people need to know about this place. A friend and I went on Wednesday night at six, the little dinning room had filled a table. The server was fast and extremely polite. We never had Ethiopian food and the server liked to go through the menu and answered our questions. We share the combination meal for 2 and a pot of coffee. The Ethiopian coffee is different from any coffee we had before, it is an ivory seasoned with the clow and cinnamon. A very nice addition to food. The combo for 2 an appetizer and the donuts for dessert were enough to make us both happy. We will go back and look forward to bringing our friends into the joys of Ethiopian cuisine.

This place is great! Very friendly staff. If you are not familiar with the kitchen as I was, they are very helpful to walk you through the experience. Every bite was delicious. And the coffee! Delicious to the last swallow!!!

Amazing food and views of the river from the back patio. Easy to eat vegan here and everything was super flavorful. The staff was suuuuper nice and attentive, I suspect they may have been the owners.
