Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Rapid City

I wish I had first checked reviews. had waited 20 minutes in the line, did not receive the half of the children's meal was required for them and others. Lobby closed again 20 minutes in line. I didn't have what was missing. the personal seemed high or stupid, not sure, could have been both. do not literally eat a waste of time here.

Read the reviews and it appears that the issues I have had here on multiple occasions are a reoccurring thing. One kid at the front doing literally everything while the 5-8 other people working are sitting on their phones or talking to each other. Then half my order is wrong/missing and I watch fries literally get scraped out of the container as if they were glued to it and still get served to me as if thats normal. I doubt these issues matter to anyone there in charge considering shift leaders and managers are lumped in with the people I see frequently standing around while the one competent employee does their job. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Food was mediocre. The staff collectively has an I.Q. if about 90.. and the shaggy curly headed kid at the counter was rude and could barely recite the menu. We watched as he messed up the orders of 2 people before us. Then ours..

Gross. They had problems before under the old management. Got bought and reopened. So bad. I’ve been inside a few times, only the kid stuck at the front does anything. Other employees standing around doing nothing. I think new owner is the guy in a shirt to small for him. Shmedium. All fried food cooked in same fryer. Everything has a fried shrimp taste to it. I was a prior food inspector for 20 years. Cole slaw tastes left out over night. Employees do not care. Lobby is barely ever open because other then whatever poor teenager they stuck up front, doesn’t want to work. It’s trash. Only Popeyes in town, but not worth it. Good luck with your FBI. Just sat in the drive-thru for fifteen minutes without any response. After no one spoke to me, I decided to see if y'all were even open, and you're supposed to be-but aren't without any notice or explanation. There are employees in your store and the car load in front got to place their order.As a food worker, who works at an extremely short-staffed restaurant, this is just sad, and really disappointing to get off work to find out I'm not eating tonight. Doesn't even deserve one star.
