Bidra med feedbackAte on our way to the airport. Inferno is a restaurant stop attached to a gas station. The food is decent and the portions are huge (we split a calzone), but I was not truly impressed with the flavor. Maybe it was the dish we chose? The soda fountain mayalso be malfunctioning... My diet mountain dew tasted very strongly of vanilla flavoring. I dumped and reported, same issue. SoI got root beer from a different spout and it was fine. Anyway, there is also a bar in the establishment. I believe the otherend of the gas station had a liquor store. You have to leave the restaurant and go through the door the the convenience centerof the gas station to get to the restrooms.
You order at the counter, grab your drinks, and take a seat until your name is called. We waited about 10 minutes for our food. My husband's calzone was stuffed full, and he managed to eat the whole thing by himself, joking that it might have been too much! I enjoyed my pizza, but I was a bit let down by the crust. As someone who always appreciates a good crust, I found Inferno's crust to be rather bland. However, I loved the sauce and the drizzle of oil on top, which was very flavorful. Unfortunately, I ended up discarding about half an inch of the plain crust around the edges. Next time, I think I’ll ask for some extra sauce to dip the crust in. For dessert, we got two cookies: chocolate chunk and salted caramel. Both were delicious! Overall, I would definitely return. It’s a nice, quick pizza place that is clean, friendly, and easy to access, with good prices. The food tasted great; it just needs a little more sauce for the crust.
The pizza and salads were delicious, featuring high-quality ingredients. They reminded me of the personal pizzas found in Europe: wonderfully thin with a delightfully crisp bottom.
We were staying nearby and decided to give this place a try. Since it's located in a gas station, we were a bit skeptical, but we're really glad we took the plunge! The cheese pizza was fantastic, boasting a delightful wood-fired flavor. But the real star of the show was the salted caramel cookies—they were incredible! A few days later, when we drove by again, we couldn't resist stopping to grab four more cookies to take back to Colorado with us!
Great food reasonably priced.
