Fat Boy's Kitchen - Queens

I tried Fatboys Kitchen at the Food Truck Rodeo in Raleigh, NC today and it was a disappointing experience. The food was not up to par and the portions were small for the price. There were plenty of fries, but not enough shrimp and the fish pieces were cut in half. Prices were not posted and when our food was delivered, the lady had an attitude about not having any napkins. It was frustrating not being able to clean our hands and mouths after eating. Despite wanting to support local food trucks, this experience was ridiculous. Next time, I'll remember to bring my own napkins and budget $15 for snacks.

Visited on a Monday night, took about an hour to get our food.... And it wasn't very crowded. Mac and cheese had no flavor, chicken sandwich with a thin flat piece of chicken on a roll that was stale on the bottom. Burgers were just okay. Not much flavor to any of the food.

Overlooks the river and the trains ... get a table outside if it’s nice weather. Good solid casual menu of burgers tacos fish etc. Brussels sprouts app was awesome. Cubans good. Lots of nice brews on tap— waiter super friendly. Took a bit long but well worth it!

The restaurant is fantastic and the food is amazing! I will definitely return!

Highly recommended. The portions are large. I adore crab legs and they offer a great selection of flavors. My husband, who is very particular about his fish, gave it a top rating. I have always enjoyed fresh vegetables and here they were cooked perfectly - not overdone but not undercooked either. This is the restaurant we have been eagerly anticipating! Kudos to the chef. Hallelujah!!!
