Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar

This was the best vacation for my family and friends. 11 of us and we all enjoyed the entertainment at the pool and in lobby. Very kind dancers who would ask you to come learn to dance. It made you feel like you belonged. Best food ever on vacation with lots to choose from. Very tasty. Fresh food always. I would go back next vacation. I met people who had been at the Ambar for 4 years in a row, and said it was the best place they had travelled in 20 years, and only go to Ambar now. Very best happy people who work there.

My husband and I visited during Christmas and had an amazing stay! Every single member of the staff is incredibly friendly and always happy which made our stay that much more enjoyable. We felt that the service was excellent, room service was quick, the place was very clean, and that there were plenty of activities to take part in and their app made things very easy to navigate and keep track of everything. The restaurants were beautifully designed, but my only recommendation is making the quality of the lunch dinner food options a little better. Perhaps it’s adding more seasonings or dressings to make it tastier. We recommend upgrading to the room with the “private pool” although the water was a bit colder, it was so nice having the option after a day at the beach or pool to walk out of your room and have your own space to float around in. We highly highly recommend!!

Really great experience. The rooms were spacious, quiet and clean. The food was good for an all inclusive, and the staff were very attentive. The only small downside was that the beach is a little on the small side, although I got some excellent videos of tropical fish only about 3m into the sea. A great place to unwind, no question about it.

Wonderful staff and very attentive. The entertainment staff does their best to keep everyone happy. There were some things that weren’t open because of COVID, but overall there was still plenty to do. We had the junior swim up sweet on the corner. And I do recommend getting the corner, because you get a little more space in the pool and a bit more privacy. Take the opportunity to take the catamaran. It’s $25 for a quick lesson, otherwise it’s free. Very large resort; The Ambar is just one of many on the property.

I didn’t personally stay but my parents did for their anniversary and for my Mother’s birthday. I got to video tour the resort and it’s stunning. Also I called them with a two notice for my mother’s birthday and anniversary and asked if they could do something special. They had an entire restaurant’s staff sing happy birthday, bring out a nice desert, and her room’s bed was turned down with Happy Birthday towel art and champagne. I really appreciate you and your staff making the occasion special for my parents! Thanks again!
