I stayed three weeks at Catolina and was told every time we tried to go there at night, and it was a private party every Saturday why it would be private at the busiest night every weekend Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I begin to say that we have been there for 2 days in a row and that I usually don't write reviews, but I want to at least warn people. First, the service is not great. People who work there seem to do you a favor if they acknowledge your existence. Secondly, if a place is expensive, I am a solid creditor, you pay for service and quality. The service was missing and was unfortunately also quality. They market themselves as the best sushi in the city, so on the first day we tried 3 different roles, one was unusable, so we left the record almost full, 2 were okay, but I think they were just okay compared to the very bad. We have tried 5 different cocktails, none of them good, 2 of them really bad. On the second day we ordered the steak that the meat quality was terrible, very fat and the taste quite bad, we also ordered sashimi and the tuna tataki. The tuna tataki was too much thought and was cut very thick, so not pleasant. The sashimi very bad, should come with a truffle puff that doesn't. When we asked them to bring the sauce, they told us it was. If you ever had Ponzu truffle sauce, you know that it has a pronounced smell to him, they brought us a watered soy sauce and told us that it was truffle Ponzu. On another note, if you do not book the “vip” table, bring towels as they do not offer. One last thing is that the pool is very dirty. On the first day the place was very empty (probably a total of about 10 customers) and when we came in there were many dead insects and dirt in the pool. Do with this information what you will. They seemed able to do what they want and treat customers badly as there are not many competitors around. Trust me that we've been looking for beach clubs in Punta Cana and, unfortunately, we're not what we would call traditional beach clubs.

The atmosphere is wonderful, beautiful all the place and cozy. Excellent to go alone, in couple, with friends, how you want.I just find that the schedule is somewhat limited, but you can enjoy it anyway. Excellent pool, the beach is spectacular, the staff very friendly and attentive, have an excellent DJ. It's one of my favorite places in the area.
