Positive: Ambience is good as far as the location is concerned. The mocktails are like 10 other restaurants around, if one considers that to be a positive point. Negative: Service, hospitality, food taste and most other amenities that comprise a good restaurant were bad. If I have to narrate my experience there, I would have to say that I ordered a beer, a mocktail, a french roated chicken and penne white sauce pasta. The rooftop is the biggest bonus of this place. Food and service is average, nothing much to brag about. You basically pay for the view and not the food here. I find this place a bit expensive

First of all there is no roof so name is little misleading :P. They have few tables arranged in a gallery alongside the beach. Food is really tasty with good quantity and ok as per the cost.

Started the pub hop night pondy with this place as the view from this corner building was amazing from the roof top. But we were kinda disappointed with the site that greeted us plastic chairs, no music n wrong information .. We thought since the sea view was amazing let's make do. Well how wrong we were! The ambience sucks with no music and bad lighting n kinda dingy. The waiter had no idea about any cousins and when we asked what is pondy's local dishes, he said pondy has none !! Terrible food. Even worse service. And worst staff I 've ever come across. Six of us walked in at 10 pm to have a post dinner drink and snack enjoying the weather and we were directed to this rooftop section of the hotel. Once we settled, we started to order, and while some of us were still deciding what to order the waiter (who claimed to be the manager) announced we must order worth 500 Rupees per head or more.
