Bon Chon - Prinza

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The place was small and crowded, with loud rock music playing in the background. The staff were friendly and patient. I ordered the seafood platter from the menu, not realizing it could be ordered in different flavors like soy garlic, spicy, honey, citrus, and crispy garlic. I opted for the soy garlic seafood platter and found it to be delicious. The shrimp and calamari were tender and perfectly cooked, and the fish was also tasty. I also tried the honey citrus chicken, choosing the breast option, but found the skin to be very hard - perhaps it was meant to be crispy? The chicken meat itself was just okay, I've had better fried chicken at other places. I also enjoyed the bulgogi noodle soup, it was clean and flavorful. They also offer a variety of rice bowls for a reasonable price. It seems like a popular spot for students and I plan to come back to try other menu items, especially the fish and chips which is a personal favorite of mine, although I didn't see it on the menu this time.

I chose the soy garlic option and was very pleased with it. The shrimp and calamari were cooked perfectly and not overdone, while the fish was also tasty. I also ordered the honey citrus chicken, opting for the breast, but found the skin to be tough and the meat to be nothing special. The Bulgogi noodle soup was a highlight, with a clean and clear broth. They also offer a variety of rice meals for P155, which seem to be popular with students. I plan to come back to try other menu items, particularly the fish and chips, which is a personal favorite that I unfortunately did not see until after I had already placed my order.
