Chuck's Little Diner - Prairie City

This is a cute little spot in town. Very homie and very much a home cooked meal. The service was great, very friendly. We hit this spot before taking off to the Strawberry wilderness for a hike, I highly recommend.

Had lunch here while on a camping trip in the area, and it was absolutely worth it! The Prairie City Beefer is a must. Best sandwich I had in my life. We sat out on the porch among the beautiful summer flowers and we even met a hummingbird. Very friendly place with excellent, affordable food. And it's open on Sundays! Don't miss it if you're in the area.

My husband and I ate breakfast here after spending the night in town, and discovered it's a favorite of the locals. People came and went, talking about how they love the food and chatting with the staff. We found everyone friendly, and the food very tasty and plentiful for reasonable prices. We both had their fluffy omelets, along with toast and crispy hash browns, and couldn't finish it all. Wish we could transport this restaurant to our hometown...we're fans!

We always eat here when we are in Prairie city. Great food and friendly service.
