And wont go back for a third..This is a small family business, with a great location right at the round about on the beach area.The first time I stopped in for an ice cream, my order was taken by a child, and no one was there to take my funds or scoop the ice cream. A friend of the family stepped over to visit and there was all sorts of excitement surroubding her visit amd request for a bottle of water. After approx 15 minutes the icecream was served. . so soft it dribbled all over my hand. There was never a customer ahead of me at the window.I thought to give it another try tonight. I brought my 81 yr old mother and we were going to have a hot dog. A young lady gave us the price, said she would be right back, and dusappeared to a food prep area. Went over to check the ice cream flavours, returned to the wibdow and there was still no one to take our order. The child from the first visit yelled from the other window that we could order pop there to which i responded that we wanted a hot dog. Still no one came. One adult was making pizza, another walkung around, and not a soul wanted to serve the only customers at the window. We left.Drove downtown and got an icecream where I didnt mind a wait in the lineup because they were actively serving customers as quickly as they could in a very professional manner .When you have a business where there is a walk in element ( in this case the window service) your key point of customer interaction is at that window! Service needs to be quick and with a great attitude. Acknowledge the customer! If you can see people from ypur spot making a pizza and no one is at the window, say hello, ask if they have been served, and communicate with your team, whether they are your kids, or not. This could be a great little spot, but until service is priority number one, it will not reach its potential.

I initially planned to go to Mackies, but there was a long line there. I ended up going to Lakeview instead, but had trouble getting the server's attention. When I returned to Mackies, the line had cleared and the server still hadn't taken my order, even though I had been waiting for a while. I decided to go back to Mackies.

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant with my son's soccer team and enjoyed a pizza party with the most amazing view and beautiful weather. The pizza was delicious and the hospitality was outstanding. Thank you from all of us in Kingsville!

On my second visit, the food came out quickly and was cooked perfectly. However, there was an excessive amount of sauce and not enough cheese. The toppings were sliding off with each bite due to the overwhelming sauce. I was disappointed with this experience, but I am willing to give them another chance.

Great pizza! Generous toppings. Friendly service. Clean kitchen. I will ask for a little less sauce next visit, but 2 thumbs up!
