The place is to deserted to stay very late and the signs are not to well placed and clear of where you are going also the gps won’t help you. Now, expect to pay an entrance fee per person which is 150 pesos, then you have to negotiate the boat ride. Ask for the VIP area which is a bit more away from the common area the boat you can negotiated for 2,000 pesos. Shockingly I love this place, this what we call “Las Bahías de las Águilas”.
Yes the roads aré bumpy but all worth it! This is one of those places that you have heard a lot of and seen breathtaking pictures however, then you see it with your very own eyes unbelievable spectacular beach and to know that it not made-man but one of the many creation of God that many have not discovered. Definitely a most on ones bucket list. Yes it’s remote....that’s the beauty of it. It best to go with a group, many great excursions from the Capital come here one of my favorites “ William Ramos Siempre viajero nunca turista”
Take with you a repellent, a stong one, nice spot for camp, negociate with the people prior to use their services, dont pay in advance.
Nice place, there is a women in front of the gate who sells some drinks. The path to Bahía de las Águilas is about 4 mi. The view throughout the way is pretty awesome. No complains.
For me the icing on my vacation D.R. cake was visiting this magnificent place. This is an untouched place were the water is so blue you would swear you were in a pool. Sand is so white and soft. Rocks are almost non existent. There is a 15 boat ride to the beach but you will have a space all for you and your family. If you are looking for a off the beaten path treasure folks this is it. What a treasure my family and I loved loved loved this place. Here are some tips this is a place you want to go to in a 4x4 cars will be challenged. Camping is available and really looked like fun. Go see this place you will NOT regret it.
