Bidra med feedbackFirst time here. The menu leans more for the English speaking customer. It has limited Mexican plates. I ordered Calabasitas con asadero. Since no egg plates that I liked, I got 2 side eggs and beans with chorizo. It was delicious. The place is very ample and well ventilated. Chair are supportive and table solid. The final touch was the small bouquet of gypsophila on the table.Parking: Only 2-3 spots in restaurants front, all others are on side lot
A Pleasant Surprise: A food Journey After an Unexpected DetourIt was a chilly Saturday evening, and I was excitedly looking forward to a delightful dinner at a good restaurant in Pecos Texas. However, fate had other plans for me that night. As I approached the entrance of la terraza restaurant, I was politely informed that the establishment was hosting a private party and could not accommodate me ,but I was already halfway in. Disappointed but determined to salvage my evening, I ventured into the surrounding streets, hoping to stumble upon something equally satisfying. And that's how I discovered DEL BARRIO RESTAURANT.The moment I stepped inside, a warm and inviting ambiance greeted me, instantly putting me at ease. The restaurant showed a tasteful an yet cozy atmosphere, with soft lighting and tasteful decor that created the perfect setting for an unforgettable dining experience. To my relief, the friendly staff promptly welcomed Lexy and Denise with genuine smiles, assuring me that they had a table available. Their attentiveness and professionalism throughout the evening were truly commendable. From the hostess who accommodated me to the knowledgeable Denise who guided me through the menu, their warm and accommodating nature elevated my dining experience.Speaking of the menu, it was a food treasure trove. With a diverse range of dishes inspired by various cuisines, there was something to entice every palate. I started my food adventure with echilada plate red and green sauces were amazing, three different salsas and tostadas..I also ordered a small menudo but got a large bowl...as I had mentioned I was traveling and had not eaten all day the ladies were excellent.I highly recommend this establishment.they made me laugh And felt cozy while being away from home alone working in the oilfield superb...Parking: Enough space for a big semi truckWheelchair accessibility: Accessibility was though of even in a small town I like it
Their omelets are great, and their Mexican Dinners are great! Staff is very friendly and my drink is never empty.
Such a beautiful restaurant, with beautiful people ! We had a big party and the waitresses got us all our food and drinks in a timely, friendly manner! The plates were presented great ! The food was served hot and delicious! It felt like we were eating in grandma's kitchen !!!Can't wait to go back !!
As soon as we walked in, we were greeted robustly by one of the busy kitchen staff, as he passed by to the kitchen, with a tub of dishes, headed for the dishwasher. Straight away, we were led to our table by a friendly hostess. She took our drink order right then, and in a minute or so, we were served drinks, with chips and 3 types of salsa. I ordered the Del Barrio hamburger, with extras of cheddar cheese, avocado, and bacon. It came with home fries and dip sauce. The server brought me ketchup as well. It was huge, so I ate it with a knife and fork. Delicious. Crisp, sweet red onion, tomato and pickles, with mustard and mayo, melt cheddar cheese crispy bacon and ripe avocado. We eat here often, and everything has been delicious ?
