Bidra med feedbackOn my way back to south texas I decided to stop here for lunch and I am so happy I did. I heard good things about this place from a family member and i wanted to try it for myself. As soon as I walked in I knew it was going to be a good experience. You can tell the food is authentic Italian. The aroma of the cooking lingers around the restaurant and it’s so welcoming. It’s a small hole in a wall type of restaurant that you can honestly miss if you’re driving by. I ordered the supreme pizza and my husband ordered the tour of Sicily. Obviously I recommend the pasta dishes over the pizza. Don’t get me wrong, the pizza was delicious but my husband shared some of his plate with me and I was delighted with the pasta dish. The garlic bread and marinara sauce is to die for ! 100 Italian flavors. Nothing artificial about that Marinara sauce! Everything made with fresh ingredients. The pizza wasn’t crispy enough but everything else made up for it. We definitely will be going back! It’s a restaurant you must definitely stop by to try! Delicious! Oh I almost forgot, we ordered the ravioli appetizer as well. We were fighting to eat the last one by the end of the meal.
Passing through Pecos Texas and found this awesome gem. Our server Merida (such a beautiful soul) recommended that I try the Chicken Murphy and oh my it was delish…she also recommended the limoncello cake and that was fantastic!!….Merida’s recommendations did not disappoint…. Everything we got served was so good…. It’s too bad we live nine hours away…if not we’d be here all the time. Totally recommend Arti’s
Food here is always amazing. My knowledge of the service is limited to take out and delivery. The place looks like an old 70s diner on the inside and hard to find from the outside today was my first day for take out and I drove past it twice! So yeah, they need to spend some money on signage and atmosphere. But the food is excellent ?
Being Italian ourselves we lowered our expectations for Italian in Texas as it is not the typical steak or Tex Mex specialties Texas is famous for. We should have lowered them even more. Walked into a full restaurant which is normally a good sign but not until we were there a while did I notice only one table had food. It’s seat yourself so we picked a booth. The waiter who was very pleasant came and asked if we wanted drinks and suggested an appetizer of mozzarella sticks. He also promised fresh bread. He returned with our drinks and the apology that they had no mozzarella sticks left. We waited easily 30+ minutes for our food and got it before a few other tables who were there before us and they started complaining. The owner came over and said she was sorry but there were a lot of people there. They walked out. Waiter came by and said bread coming soon. My chicken parm was decent size and breaded well but the sauce had to be from a jar. Bland tasting too. Wife’s spaghetti and meatballs were good portion but meatballs had no sauce on them and tasted like premade frozen. We finished our meal and still no bread. Waiter said sorry lots of people are waiting. Agreed but we won’t be one of them so we left. As we walked out a pizza that a table that was seated before us finally came out to them. If this is the #1 restaurant in town I weep for the people of Pecos.
This is my second time when I come to arti while I visited a man who works in this area. this is the best Italian food I've ever eaten. both paint, both dishes. the dame, the table is so nice and friendly. I always come here. best restaurant in pecos hands down.
