Papa Johns Pizza - Pasadena

Over 30 dollars for a single large pizza to be delivered. Store charges a delivery fee, buy doesn't give that money to the delivery driver. Too pricey when there are cheaper, better options (looking at you carinis).

Last time I 'll order from them! For some reason my last two, very simple pizza orders were messed up but I decided to try again last night, Ordered a veggie pizza and a papidia. It was supposed to arrive in 30-40 minutes, ok great. I kept watch for the delivery person so I could make sure I beat the dog to the door when it arrived. Finally at the 1 hour mark with no delivery I called to get a status on it. It was raining and I figured Mountain Rd traffic at 8pm could have been why it was taking so long. To my surprise the order WAS DELIVERED. I found it on my front step, soaking wet! This cost me $40 with delivery and tip. Not only was it wet and cold, ants decided to take shelter in the box. It was DISGUSTING. I guess this was 'no contact delivery ' even though I didn 't request it. And it would have been fine if the driver would have used a little common sense and banged on the door and made sure the customer was aware their order had arrived. No more, I 'm done with this place and it makes me angry because I really do like the food.

Called at 11:00 for carryout, operator said “ papa john’s pasadena, we’re closed. They hung up on me. Just feel like that was unprofessional and untrue, considering their answering machine says they are open until 12 or later.

Shack one of the worst pizzas I 've had in years. If you sliced the pepperoni any thinner for your special shack pizza the pepperoni wouldn 't be there. Shame on you. Grocery store pizza for half the price is better!

We were given an estimate of 23 to 33 minutes; but the pizzas showed up at 55 minutes -COLD- and with no acknowledgement or apology from the driver. Since they showed up so late, my niece was picked up without getting to eat dinner. When I called to complain, and find out what happened, all I got was a ringing phone (with an automated recording about how successful the owner is) for 10 minutes... No one ever answered the phone. So I feel forced to voice my opinion online, since it seems like no one wants to hear it at the store.
