Biryani Pot Parsippany, Nj

I just had the worst Vijaywada Chiken Biryani here after trying at several places across the United States. This was no where close to being called an average biryani even.

I used to order from this restaurant and I loved the flavor of biryanis and kebabs. I recently tried my favorites but it turned out to be a disaster. Biryani tasted like only masala mixed with rice and chicken tikka was not fully cooked and flavorless. Never ordering from here again.

I’m a South Indian. I really love the food at biriyani pot even I have got many options to go and have my best meal. The people in the restaurant didn’t allow me to do the dine in at the restaurant. Because the restaurant dine in will be till 3 pm. I’m here 30mints before closing time. I even told them that I will finish it off by 3pm. They didn’t accept me. I’m a regular to your restaurant. The people in there ?. I came to know that restaurant owner is out of country. I don’t know how to contact him, that’s y I’m dropping the review here. Take care of the restaurant sir, they were not taking care of your business.Parsippany branch?

Got Chicken Dum Biryani today and have many times before from here and I really enjoyed it

I decided to try this place for take out on my drive back to NY (I 80 East bound) I had experienced great food at the Biryani Pot East Windsor, NJ location, so assumed this one would be equally good. Ordered the following 1) Paneer Tikka Masala this was just paneer dipped in tomato sauce... no taste at all 2) Navratna Korma this was edible, but not great 3) Malai Kofta this was the worst. The kofta were crushed with the gravy and absolutely no taste either. It seemed the food preparer just made food for the sake of making it, but no flavor. I would avoid this place if you are under the assumption that the food here is equally good as the Biryani Pot in East Windsor.
