Food was fine, service was terrible. I know in France it doesn't matter how table service works in the USA, but that was beyond the usual (we ate into a dozen other restaurants on our trip and nowhere was the service as bad as here). And in an area where they are literally surrounded by two dozen other cafés, they could be better. Two different waiters ignored our repeated requests for a carafe of water, and you never brought the second round of drinks we ordered. Then he continued to take a Cig break with his buddy at the table right next to us. When we asked after the check, he suddenly became very charming and charming because he expected a great American tip.

During the height of Omicron we were served by a waiter with his mask swinging from his ears, when we politely asked him to replace it as we required negative antigen tests next day to return home as most tourists do! , he had a...french waiter hissy fit declaring that he was vaccinated...if only Covid was that simple the pandemic would be virtually over in Europe... Also our covid certs weren't checked.... The food was also dreadful, soggy burgers accompanied by greasy chips, Caesar salad with a boiled cornflake chicken that was practically inedible... Go elsewhere, we wish we had....
