Bidra med feedbackA real pariser experience. eccentric and friendly owner, large selection of wine and a relaxed atmosphere. in any case worth a visit.
This bar is magical. there is only something about this place where they know that so much has happened in these 4 walls over years and years. I fell in love a few weeks ago during my first trip to paris where I ended. until I visited it not even, but twice. it is a diving wine bar, but with so much character, in each corner and crunches. I had read reviews both on tripadvisor and on yelp, though dated. there is no name listed on the door so it could be hard to miss, but something about the red lighting and energy just pulled me in. (and some trusting reviews online. the first night was a little intimidating. a group of older men, all friends and all seemed to know the owner were deep into the conversation at the bar. But as soon as I came in, solo that very owners, Jean-Loup (he made sure that I was the correct writing, vs. some replayed in other reviews, warmly welcomed and greeted me. from there it was gratitude. for me personally, it was a decisive moment, because only a few days before I was still a bit scary to explore the city solo with very little French, but in this night I felt brave and mistaken by bubar. so glad I did. Jean-Loup has not only a few weeping for me, who were all sheer perfection (there's a whining list, but they disregard this and just tell him what they're in the mood for because he 'll find something spot-on, but offered a small plate of nibbles, asking if I'm 'fruit or sweet '. a sweet, personal note. I enjoyed a wonderful night that respected his interactions with his kumpels (clearly he is very enthusiastic here and a local clip while he regularly checked for me to make sure I was in order. such an amazing evening. in the following night I had to look back to say goodbye. I forget Jean-Loup and just don't bobby soon. for anyone who reads this, who gets ventilated into the bar, he mentioned that he did not want the tech-savvy, but was happy to hear that he has so many positive reviews, and that I wanted to write a review (as the last one was from a year ago .please let him know that jenifer of los angeles hallo, and mention this review: he is the absolute best.
If you want real paris, you'll swing by bubar. is not far from place de la bastille hidden. the owner is super friendly and friendly. in good hands when I tell him what I like, and he comes back with some wonderful crying that are Spot-on. the kitschige interieur with the stacks of cds, and now with the outside seats if they want some fresh air. great place to gather with a friend or two for a relaxed evening of the beautiful weine at a reasonable price and in a welcoming ambiente. the owner is a falk for sanitation. I stood on my place and he immediately reminded me to wear my mask. good for him!
The perfect weeping, great wine in a fantastic atmosphere with a beautiful host. came here looking for a traditional French wine bar and found much more. très bien!
I met the owner, Jean Luc, 17 years ago when he opened Bubar Just dropped in tonight an he’s still there, and is as sweet as ever. This is a very informal place, so don’t expect eligance. Do expect very good prices, a huge...selection of wines by the glass, a casual, welcoming atmosphere; friendly patrons; and a knowledgeable owner with an incredible CD collection and a great beard (Bubar)
