Their authentic German dishes are oversized, deliciously prepared and served with their amazing accompaniments. A cozy family restaurant with a welcoming ambience it delivers big. Even when full, the noise level is never a distraction. The service is well led by the owners as chef, attendants and musical entertainers! We always enjoy are visits to this wonderful gem! We are so disappointed! The restaurant is no longer in business!!

They have moved to Sarasota Square Mall Food Court. Just down from Costco and near the AMC theater. Yes in the food court. But they have same delicious German food as they had in previous location. Go support this family run business. Open 11-7

I don 't believe in negative reviews or bashing our local establishments and I try to follow that Golden Rule. if you don 't have something nice to say ... say nothing at all. so here 's the short and sweet version: I made a poor menu choice and was put off by the attitude and words of the manager. i see now they 've closed, not suprised.

Visited in November 2022. Five of us dined at Da Vinci based on word of mouth. Of our group, the mother of three and mother-in-law to two is from Germany. The three whose mother is German have visited Germany multiple times. Sadly, we were all terribly disappointed with the quality of the food. None of us considered the food Authentic German cuisine . While finishing our meal I believe that I saw through the service window, the cook dumping a big #10 can of something into a pot. We can not recommend this restaurant in good faith. The person playing the background music was way too loud and distracted from the meal. We hoped that she would take a break for a while.
