Clever Monkey Craft Grill - Osprey

So we checked in with young man and gave my number and went to sit at bar for our wait. Never got a call. Ended up sitting at bar while many tables in main dining sat empty. Felt bad for those wait staff. However our bartender was very gracious and took care of us. Food was average bar food. Had the rubuen but did not order extra meat which it needed. Up charge would have made it more entree price for a sandwich? Entertainment was outside. So other than tv in bar nothing to write home about given it’s overhype.

Everything was a cut above regular bar food. The service was excellent.

My husband and I decided to have a date lunch and were told about the Clever Monkey. We stopped and were greeted by the manager Gina. Very cordial and explained her menu and how fresh her food is. Started off with a blood orange cosmo, priced good and an excellent taste. We decided to try the onion rings, what a nice surprise. Fresh, crispy and large. My husband had the parmesan garlic chicken tenders, freshly cut with an amazing taste. Even though we live in Englewood, we will definitely be back to the Clever Monkey !!

Not crowded at all as we arrived around 5:15. No hostess. Waited 3-4 minutes before someone told us to pick any table. Waited 15 minutes before a server came. One male server stood talking to a couple outside the entire time. Finally got to order drinks. They mixed up the drink order. Ordered food. Came out in pretty quick fashion. Food was just ok. Kids did not like the Mac n cheese. Stopped the server who had been chatting outside and asked for an order of mini burgers. He said he would put it right in. He never did. Average food. Terrible service. Nice bar area. Never going back !!!
