We love this place. The sushi is delicious. It is quiet, comfortable, and a nice place to relax and enjoy wonderful food.

Cold winter, sitting barefoot, eating cold food. The food was cold, some tasty, some not. They require you to take off your shoes but the floor has already been dirty and very cold. How are we supposed to wash our hands before meal if we have to take our shoes off? We cannot go to a bathroom barefoot. We were uncomfortable removing our shoes while the people that sat at regular tables wore their shoes. Recommendation: reconstruct the three Japanese-style eating spots into regular tables.

Banya has the freshest and best tasting sushi in West Side PDX area. I have tried every sushi restaurant here. The skill and freshness, taste, look, and experience of their sushi is genuinely special. Thank you so much Banya team, I can finally enjoy delicious and fresh seafood at home. I hope you stay in business for a long time

Comfortable environment, delicious ingredients, highly recommended!

I really enjoy the food and presentation here. I felt welcomed and the workers were nice. It was a clean and warm atmosphere. Server can be busy though. It was hard to get attention for a refill on water but that was a minor issue. I stole my friends water. I would recommend.
