Il Cacciatore - ORBETELLO

Brilliant food, well presented. Proper Tuscan Nonna food. Don 't let the front of the restaurant or the big Vegas style sign put you off. There 's a nice outdoor dining area to the rear by the pool. Great for families or just good food. Would probably try elsewhere if you are looking for sophisticated or romantic. Pizza evenings only. Slightly pricey overall by a couple of € per dish but DEFINITELY worth a visit or two.

We stopped on our drive to Tuscany since we were so hungry! Lovely little restaurant by the pool. You are greeted by a darling dog named cooper! Iza and Fabio were great and the food was really good! Perfect stop on your drive.

Either from or to Rome on the Aurelia, this is a welcome spot for a bite to eat. The staff were friendly and attentive. The polenta with bacon antipasto was delicious and adequate for two persons. We then ate pasta with tomato sauce and papardelle di cinghiale. With half liter of vino the bill of 44 euro was reasonable. We look forward to the next trip.

On the Aurelia road at km. 156 in orbetello, is the hunter. family management, and isabella, dedicated to the room, is professional, prepared and very kind. the quality of raw materials, the respect of tradition, the abundant portions and the appropriate prices make sure that the hunter stops if you want to get the typical flavors of the Maremma.

Went couple of times for the dinner while staying in hotel. Everything was up to standards. Price level is ok. Service is very good. Food was very tasty.
