Fat Joe’s O’side - Oceanside

Rad place with some cool arcade games! Decent pizza just ask for it well done. Nice tang to the sauce and a good crisp crust. Nights are always busy but the staff does a good job serving!

My European friend told me these were the best burgers he had in CA to date. For $10, it’s a steal.

The atmosphere was ideal for a family gathering on a football Sunday. The food was quite enjoyable, and the staff did an excellent job while remaining discreet.

We took the Coaster from Carlsbad to Oceanside to do a little bar hopping, day drinking. We decided that it was game time so we popped into Fat Joe's O'Side. Let the games begin! Fat Joe's is a cool spot. Beer, cocktails and bar food and a full on arcade complete with a two lane bowling alley. We lucked out as just as we were walking in, a 4 top became available so we sat right down. Drinks are ordered at the bar. They will take a credit card to keep your tab open. We didn't find the drinks too expensive, but we did find them tasty. We did not order food so I can't speak to that. The place was crowded, but the service behind the bar was keeping up admirably. Becky and our friend started by killing off some attacking aliens on one of the video arcade machines. When they were finished, it was my turn to kick some alien ass alongside Becky. After Bex and I saved the planet from an alien invasion, my buddy and I headed on over to the air hockey table. He promptly kicked my ass two games to none. Fat Joe's is kid friendly, family friendly and adult friendly. A good time was had by all. Save the planet go to Fat Joe's!

I really tried to like Fat Joe's, but after their deceptive tactics I'm done. Side note, I have only ordered take out through DoorDash, so maybe in person would be different. On DoorDash when ordering a burrito or wrap, you are forced to add salsa and sour cream with your order. There is an extra fee for these. You can't move on to the next section of ordering without selecting salsa and sour cream. Sucks but fine whatever. I always write in the notes no sour cream and every single time there is sour cream in my food. Not to mention the rice and beans suck so add that with the sour cream I didn't want and my burrito tasted terrible. Definitely won't be ordering again.
