Bidra med feedbackTasty dishes of freshly cut salami, giant bowls of hot paniscia (a speciality of rice with vegetables and tiny pieces of salami), polenta with meat or fish, delicious desserts...you can't miss this place if you want to taste and smell what local food is! Service is good and fast. Prices are reasonable.
Paniscia is a risotto from Novara which is done in two stages . In fact they use avegetable soup to cook the rice prepare the day before . Hard-working and high-calorie dish but a must for those who love the combination cabbage , rice and beans . I really enjoy the food here plus the tradicional food from the area of Novara also the desserts go for it
Abundant and tasty, it is typical of the Piedmontese tradition, with 'paniscia ', the entrée, being a very rich concoction of rice with beans and pork rind. It was preceded by a communal platter of traditional hors-d 'oeuvres, and followed by three different types of stew, including beef and donkey, accompanied by polenta. Home-made desserts included bonet and panna cotta. The wine was served from carafe. Reasonably priced and very satisfying.
We stopped at the tavern to eat bread for St Gaudentius! and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. super friendly staff is attentive to meet the customer! I also fell to the napkin, I didn't even realize I had a new obstacle! fast and friendly service...the delicious paniscia, also allowed the great. Good chips! the owners have made the round of the tables to know if it was ok! it really deserves!
