Bidra med feedbackWe decided to go to mama Lao's after reading some great reviews. There are quite a few vegan options and everything we ordered was delicious and so cheap. Our meal was the best we had in Nong Khiaw so we decided to go back the next night and it was just as delicious. The restaurant is in the front of her house and the whole meal is cooked by Mama Lao so may take a bit of time if busy but is worth the wait. Mama Lao is lovely!! She is able to speak some English. We highly recommend. We would definitely give this restaurant a 5 star but as it serves meat we are only able to give it 4 star (under happycows conditions)
Family owned, extremely cheap restaurant with one of the best Lao dishes! You need to write your order on a sheet but almost every dish is listed separately as a basic meal, with egg and with egg and meat. For everyone who is wondering why It got only 4 stars: 4 is max for a non vegetarian restaurant. :
We came here after reading the big reviews and it was not disappointed! There was a little waiting as Mama Laos prepared everything herself in her kitchen, but the food was absolutely delicious and really good value. Recommended without a doubt!
Wow, wow! The Lao Salad, the fresh spring rolls, the suksuka sapati are amazing!! The lemon juice is good and café a bit sweet. We also liked fried rice. It's so cheap and they're so nice. The service is really long. But there is only 1 person for service and cooking!! So be ready to wait 20-30 min sometimes more if you are not alone. But it is absolutely worth it!!
Small family-run restaurant, we tried a lot of food and everything was just delicious!! It is one of the best restaurants I found in Laos (and I tried a lot! . There is only one woman who works here, cooks and serves so that you have to wait a bit for your food, but it is worth waiting. In addition, prices are really cheap. If you are nearby, I recommend this place
