The Garrison House

We had a wonderful dining experience on Sunday night in NOTL. The Sunday Prime Rib ($42) was of excellent quality, cooked perfectly to our liking, and served with a tasty vegetable medley, mashed potatoes, and Yorkshire pudding. The pan-fried pickerel ($34) special came on a bed of noodles, which my husband wouldn't have chosen himself, but it turned out to be surprisingly delicious. He particularly enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding ($12). We were disappointed that we couldn't try the burger, which looked amazing, because the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and we're always in town on Sundays and Wednesdays.

I went to this wonderful restaurant and had an amazing meal. I ordered the gnocchi special with bacon cream sauce, which was fantastic. The patio is large and has a great view of Jackson Triggs winery across the street. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be coming back here.

I really enjoy this restaurant. They serve delicious burgers and all their dishes are made with the freshest ingredients. The service was excellent and very attentive.

On our final night in the area we decided to try a new restaurant. Based on reviews we chose this restaurant. I can definitely say this the meals are some of the best we have had on Niagara in the Lake. We started with the eggplant and ricotta dip. This was simply the best dip we have ever had. The combination and the toppings were delicious. Next for my main I had the fried chicken, which has just returned on the summer menu and was absolutely amazing. This was the best fried chicken I have ever had. Again the flavour combinations are incredible. My wife had the lamb korma and she loved her dish as well. Service is great and friendly. Great restaurant and a must try on any visit to the area.

So good. Split a house salad (probably as good as any I have had and large! and the steak and ale pie, which was to die for. The server was friendly and professional. Guided me to their best-tasting wine (Sauvignon Blanc . I would be back in a flash if the opportunity came along.
