Trius Winery Restaurant - Overland Park

Beautiful winery, though can be busy if you don’t reserve ahead as it’s a popular tour destination. I took the Trius tour and our guide was awesome, taking us to various scenic spots in premises and we got to sample some of their signature wines. We even got to witness a champagne style wine get owned with a sword. If you are in the area, do visit, as it’s one of the areas establishing wineries and well worth a try.

The food options are limited but quality of almost anything we ordered was exceptional.Specially the bread and butter was super fresh and enjoyable to have it with the high quality wine...However the decaf espresso martini was not decaf and I had hard time to sleep that night.

We loved our meal at Trius. We were able to eat outside on the patio and the service was top notch. The food options for each course were seasonal and interesting. Plating was lovely and the wine pairing was seamlessly intertwined with the service of the courses. The pacing was very good for us. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a lovely, modern experience.

Last night we had dinner at Trius Winery Restaurant with eight other couples. From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out, every single part of our evening was beyond perfect. The hostess took our coats as soon as well walked in, reviewed the food sensitivities we had indicated upon making our reservation to ensure they had it all correct. Our table was beautifully set in the centre of the gorgeous dining room. When we were seating the well trained and diligent staff quickly set down our menus and poured water for all of our guests. Shortly thereafter a server approached to ask if there were any questions about the menu and took food and wine orders. Deliciously fresh bread and wine infused butter was delivered to our table to enjoy while we waited for the appetizer course. Since there were ten people in our party, we were able to see all the offerings on the menu. Every single appetizer, main course, and dessert was perfectly prepared and artistically presented. There was not one thing that was out of place. The flavours and textures were all exquisite. The server was able to suggest wines to compliment our meals. The evening was a triumph. The Date Night menu is excellent. The Trius wine pairs perfectly with the menu selections.
