Bidra med feedbackWow, this restaurant is absolutely adorable! It's located right next to a winery, which is a great bonus. We visited for lunch twice during our four-day trip and loved it both times - the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant has a spacious covered patio as well as a large indoor dining room. The service was fantastic, and we highly recommend trying the hand-cut fries with garlic aioli dipping sauce - they are amazing!
My wife and I were driving from Toronto to Niagara on the lake and we had pre booked a stop at our chosen lunch venue. Having made good progress on the road we arrived an hour early but there was no problem with us eating at that time. We chose perch with a side salad an half a rack of ribs on a mound of skin on skinny fries with slaw. Portion sizes were on the generous side there was too much fish and my ribs were delicious but huge. Probably had only a third of the fries. I bought a bottle of wine to have at our accommodation (competitively priced) and we received some helpful tips about parking in Niagara Falls. If you would like to eat here, w strongly suggest that you book ahead. Walk ins were being turned away. Service was very friendly and there was a very homely atmosphere in the barn like cafe
Being a wine enthusiast, I was impressed with the food at this restaurant. The grilled cheese and soup were delicious, which paired perfectly with the wine. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. I highly recommend this place and suggest trying a wine tasting as well.
Pretty basic surroundings, but the food is great and the portions a good size. The service is very friendly and helpful. It would have been nice to do a wine tasting in the restaurant with our meal but that wasn't an option. We enjoyed a glass of Caroline wine with lunch.
We visited this little restaurant with family shortly after New Years day while in the Niagara region. Being that it was a drizzly, damp and overcast day so soon after the holidays I was quite surprised to see how busy the restaurant actually was but after tasting the food I can now understand the reason. I went with the sirloin burger that was very tender, not at all greasy and extremely filling. This was served with a side of fries cut from really potatoes and most certainly the best I have eaten in a long time. I didn't try the wine but my wife did and thoroughly enjoyed it also pretty good value for a decent sized glass. The tables in the restaurant are well spaced and the staff polite and attentive.
