I have fond memories of Jake's Pommes since the 1960s! I highly recommend this establishment. I have yet to find any other chip shop that compares to Jake's!
Jake makes the best fries ever! If you enjoy thick fries with salt and vinegar (or malt vinegar), nothing compares. I always used to have ketchup with my fries, but not anymore.
You'll wait for a bit, but it's worth it!! Jake has been here for many years. Don't ask for ketchup, though... they don't have one.
Do not miss these french fries they are the real deal. Potato aficionado's unite. Takes you back to a chip wagon in your youth
