Canyon Creek Chophouse - Niagara Falls

We enjoyed our supper. The meat was very good. Good value for money near the falls (downtown)

Went in here after finding it on the top level of the shopping centre/casino area at the top of the incline railway at Niagara falls. We liked the look of the menu and a visit to Tripadvisor confirmed our initial positive feelings. We went without a reservation and were seated in a booth by the window with the falls view (mostly hidden by trees). Our choices of Asian nachos and the southwest chicken. We were really impressed with the food, a different take on the norm with the nachos being built on top of wanton rather than corn chips and the chicken breast having great flavour and served with rice and veg rather than the norm of fries! If you say you're sharing also then the food is served in 2 separate portions, a really nice touch. We found the price very fair, especially compared to some places in North America. In addition, when I signed up to receive their WIFI I was sent a free starter or sharing plate voucher for next time when spending $25. Try it, well worth the effort.

We were 4 for lunch. My coconut shrimp were awful. Almost no shrimp, just a lot of batter, chewy instead of crispy did not seem they were done recently.The prime rib was the best dish, but the hamburgers were hard and no taste.Service was very good and the view of the falls makes up a bit for the food...

Excellent meal, excellent service, small intimate terrace overlooking nature and part of Niagara Falls. Very very affordable price.

We were kindly received without reservation and were shown to a table with a beautiful view (just a pity that it was raining) and got a nice menu for almost 40 CAD and it was definitely worth the money. First we chose a salad, then a spicy steak with potato salad and crispy vegetables. Really good taste and composition. Finally creme brulee. We drank caffeine free coffee and it was nice too. All in all, the service was friendly, the view wonderful, great food and definitely worth the money so what more could you want!
