Los Abuelos Mexican Grill - Newnan

Best Mexican restaurant in Newnan in my opinion. Everyone that works here is so sweet and hilarious. Great quesadillas and chips with of course cheese dip... love it here. Always my go to place when I’m craving Mexican food!

Visited L.A. for the first time. Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The options on the menu seemed pretty standard, the price was on point. Service was great and food came out fast Easy choice to be a repeat customer. I had the 3 taco plate, the chicken had a delicious taste, 8 was pleasantly surprised about the shrimp, and the steak was a great finisher. All great choices.

We have patronized this restaurant since it first opened. The restaurant is well appointed, airy and clean. The restrooms are well maintained. Service is prompt, polite and the staff all observe all covid-19 precautions. The servers are helpful, friendly and attentive. The bar offers specials every day and the lunch menu here cannot be beat. The chips are light, crispy and warm, the salsa is spicy but not overly so. One of the lunch specials is 2 tacos, a bowl of soup and a drink for $6.99. I have ordered the chicken tacos several times and I have noticed that the chicken, while still well seasoned, is now watery. Serving size is more than generous on all entrees.

Pretty good food and good service. Chips were great. Food could use a little bit more spice and flavor for my taste and the atmosphere was very loud inside. I guess it depends what you're looking for, but overall a good experience.

Start off with the Guacamole Dip...Fantastic. freshly made and full of flavor along with the salsa. Chips nicely cooked to a nice thin light crisp. The main courses came really quick and the were pretty small portions. Don't get me wrong, the food was good but for the $50+bill we got after, I was expecting a bit more on the meal size. Look Place is still new but it's your choice. Overall I'll give it a second try because I think it's worth it. Good atmosphere and friendly staff.
