Sticky Rice Thai Restaurant

Wow, the food at this restaurant is fantastic. Everything we tried was incredibly delicious. The restaurant is a bit small, but would be perfect for a small group. There were a lot of locals coming in for takeout. The food selection was excellent and they had a good drinks menu. The dishes were beautifully presented and despite the busy kitchen, they came out quickly. The service was a bit lacking, the tables were sticky, and it was quite dark inside. It may add to the ambience in the summer, but it didn't during our winter visit. I would definitely eat here again and highly recommend the beef massaman.

Flavours in this joint are terrific! We had the pork belly, pad seewee pork belly and seafood pad Thai and the Thai milk teas! Spacious but cosy atmosphere. Portions are definitely generous, suits the price and effort of the kitchen! If you're ever craving Thai on vacation or as a local, this is must go-to place!

Truly exceptional food, great atmosphere, and reliable service. I highly recommend coming here if you're in Newcastle and looking for a unique dining experience instead of the usual pizza or pub fare! 10/10.

The Thai food at this restaurant is truly outstanding and offered at very reasonable prices. It was just as delicious when I took it to go. The staff were very friendly and professional when I picked up my order. The soft shell crab was still crispy even after being in the container, and the salad and sauce were excellent. The noodles were also delicious, so much so that my daughter couldn't stop eating them.

Highly recommended. 2 of us shared Soft Shell Crab and Thai Rice for lunch and we could not eat it all. Very generous servings and all was fresh and tasty. Great spot for a quick bite without spending a fortune. Lunch specials as well!
