Garden State Diner - Newark

Waiting time is a little long, but as I have a lot of time, that's not a problem at all. The waitress is exceptionally beautiful! She gave me food recommendation and even made sure that I didn't pay for the chocolate croissant by talking about it. The potatoes are hot and soft and tasteful. The sourdough is crispy but soft. The ham and the eggs are perfect. People will be curling at the airport, but this place is very nice. I highly recommend it!

OMG! We hardly caught our flight and landed here for a 3-hour layover and we saw this place and thought why not? So, damn good we took the chance! We were quickly shown a table/boat and the waiting staff was friendly/professional and very friendly. The food was very good! Will we come back when we're back in the area?

A busy place to get a breakfast before a flight. We sat fast and quickly got our food. They seemed to get people don't want to stay long. They had the usual diner offers, including pancakes of different flavors, waffles, sandwiches, etc. They also had baked goods such as croissants and dunes, and after our departure I noticed that they had an adjacent bakery stand for people who need food very quickly.

Very friendly staff. Restaurant was clean and food was aaamazing! It was a little waiting to get the food... but that was because so many sat at once and the tons to go orders. Be patient and enjoy the food!

Good prices and proportions but the food is not good. I ordered a $20 Ruben which was made in a toaster oven. No ?grill? in the bread, so it was just hard and dry, no 1000island, and the meat was literally black from being burned. They never brought me a water or my coffee, and the staff was rude. When I asked for 1000island, the employee said ?I don?t make the food?. The people next to me ordered their eggs soft and they were also burned.
