Bidra med feedbackShrimp wasn’t very good most of the breading fell off. My husband said he had to choke down his catfish. The onion rings were delicious.
First time going here, read reviews and people were recommending the steak and fried shrimp. I decided to go with the Ribeye for $55.00 another person with me got the same thing. I ordered medium rare and they ordered medium. Instead of complaining we ate part of it. Mine came out rare and it was very tough. The other persons came out medium rare and was also tough. I’m not sure where people are saying these are the best steaks because the seasoning alone tasted like salt and pepper and it has no grilled flavor. I brought it up to the person behind the bar who looked like a manager and they apologized and asked if I wanted a gift card. They said it was probably due to shift change. That should not affect the way a $55 steak taste. They need to do better. I declined the gift card because I do not plan on coming back.
Forgetting we were in LA, but anxious for a taste of home cooked red beans and rice or crawfish was shocked with the heat they put in their food. Could not eat ANY of the food ordered except the salad. NOT a seafood and steakhouse more like How much cayenne seasoning and jalapenos can we put in our dishes restaurant. Do not waste your money just because you get a good view of the canal through town.
