Bidra med feedbackMy family and I stopped by for lunch at this restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. We tried the Roast Beef Po'Boy with extra gravy, which was well seasoned, as well as the Fried Shrimp Po'Boy, which tasted fresh but was a bit lacking in shrimp compared to those in New Orleans (they advertise 10 shrimp and count them out). The Spicy and Crawfish Meat Pies were delicious and authentic, with a good amount of crawfish. The Cinnamon and Blueberry-Lemon pastries were also very good and unique, with the Blueberry-Lemon flavor being my favorite. I would describe it as a scone muffin with a light cream cheese filling. We are too full now, but we look forward to trying a Sweet Potato Loaf later this evening. Additionally, the gift shop was impressive for the size of the restaurant, with a wide variety of Cajun cookbooks. Overall, the store and bathroom were clean. We will definitely be making this restaurant a regular stop when driving through.
Love the atmosphere and the food! Great customer service! Everyone is super nice especially the cashier with the nose ring! She’s the sweetest!
You need a souvenir shirt that says, Natchitoches 1714: Oldest town in Louisiana Purchase .
This restaurant is amazing. It is the best spot to stop for restroom breaks, delicious food, and fuel when driving on I-49 between Shreveport and Opelousas. Don't miss out on this gem, make sure to stop here.
"Everything was dry and flavorless, lacking the freshness it once had."
