Bidra med feedbackVery rustic ambience with own home brewery. Great buffet, beautiful beer garden. All at civil prices. A very good address in the beautiful Murnau. Hotel in the house. Best suited for a relaxing holiday.
Hi! One of the best inns there is. Super nice staff from waiter to cook also very nice waitresses with the heart at the right place as it belongs to a rustic place! The ambience is very good vault welcoming you feel right away. Super delicious food pigshaxe Gulasch duck with blue herb dumpling sausage salad Schnitzel and and...to name just a few delicacies! All very clean in the host house are to be admired, for example, the large copper boilers. There is also a beer garden in the courtyard protected and cozy. No long waiting times, which immediately positively affects because the beer or especially the dark wheat is quite sweet. A very good choice to turn off and enjoy in today's time when the host houses become less and less and the cosiness comes too short! Kind regards JG 20
Murnau am Staffelsee. Auweh, thought the Archangel Aloisius... ne... the Schroeder.... dös be schö fad... ...but the pipe lid, the Upper Bavarian market spots (some over 12,000 people in the Dunstkreis of the Munich Moloch can delight. In beautiful weather, the Ammergau Alps and the Wetterstein Mountains with the Zugspitze are close and sparkling on this July day with hard white tips in the blue Bavarian sky. The lake of Staffel, located a bit away from the town centre, and the great Murnauer Moos do their rest. Well-positioned Upper Bavarian wealth blinks over each of the high garden fences, the here abundantly residing Munich refugee and the small proper old town is naturally flawlessly sprinkled. Oberbayern Idylle churches and CSU land as from the postcard....as painted... That's why Aloisius is here... For here, in the then more peeful Catholic tribal, Gabriele Münter and Wassily Kandinsky lived together from 1909 to 1914... in wild marriage... a Berliner and a Russian! The old house today is called Russenhaus... so the interested guest can sniff at the roots of the blue rider and do this with Wonne... because other Genii Loci, such as Sindelsdorf, Penzberg and Kochel are just a few kilometers away.... But Kunscht makes thirsty and hungry and the stranger is looking for regional specialties.... The Griesbräu is a juicy brewery inn at the top of the pedestrian zone with all the clichés that the inclined guest seems to expect: Bedirndelte Jungfrauen with deep insights and views (it was blooming before the beer... , hearty Bavarian home cooking and of course the EIGENE beer. The beer garden emerges as a chaired courtyard of the large four-sided courtyard, in which the air stands a little and it was very warm this day. The Bavarian taverns have to be picked up on a long warming buffet....in my case, a larger number of undefined Asians tried to order pantomic pork goulash with dumplings and blue wort... that took me too long... Lucky! White sausage is served... So place conquered and white sausage with Brezel (it was again a mistake of the swab, the Bavaria can do a lot, but Brezel definitely not ordered. The light, as a beer usually means, was natural, but for my taste too sweet.... The sausage, on the other hand,... superb... loose, fluffy with a lot of parsley and gaaance delicate. But if you do them in the obligatory sweet mustard, you taste.... sweet mustard.... Well, the lunch break was now also done and when the Bedirndelte turned down to cash, I realized that a beer was too much for my Swabian mind... Greetings Schroeder
I admit that I was looking for an evaluation of a Golocal user because you were just in Murnau. The Griesbräu consists of hotel, restaurant and vaulted cellar. A view through the open door of the restaurant, well maintained Bavarian cosiness, but empty guest room. That was nothing. So a bit further down there was another entrance, here it went into an inner courtyard with tables and chairs, and as the sun had ventured out shortly before, some guests also sat here. More the building attracted me in the background. Large copper-colored brewing boilers were seen through the windows. And here he was, the original vaulted cellar, even though you had to climb a staircase. Behind the brewing boilers wooden tables and benches. A really very nice service asked what to drink, for beer it is too early, so specifically. With her, I could order pizza, flame-cake and white sausages, and the other food must be taken. So I looked at the food edition, a bit like in my canteen in the store, but two funny young men offered me their food, and as the only guest I had their full attention. Too much I would have tasted the tasty looking Bavarian herb, but I do not dare some time my belly and instead took Gulasch with Semmelknödel and a small temptationerle of the Bavarian Spätzle, here called Knöpfle, and a mixed salad. The portions are just right, not too much and not too little. I paid about 10 euros. It has not now tasted excitingly great, good average, but with the nice service and the Bavarian ambience there are good 3 stars.
My secret tip there you get really good food
