Powder Bar - MOUNT BULLER

After a morning of skiing on the mountain, I was looking for a simple lunch. I ordered a ham and cheese toastie without tomato, along with chips for roughly $20-$25. The food took about 30-40 minutes to come out, and when it finally arrived, the bread was barely toasted, the cheese was not melted (partly still cold), and there was tomato on it despite my request. The chips were also not ready for some reason, so I decided to just eat the toastie and wait for them. However, even after another 15 minutes, the chips were still not ready. I had to get the attention of the staff to ask for a refund for the remaining part of my order. The service was severely lacking, with multiple staff members failing to deliver even the simplest of meals correctly.

I found the environment small, but everything in Mt Buller is small. The service was a 10. The girls who served us were super attentive and kind. The price is good.

So we're in having a drink after skiing. Then told they close at 5 to reopen at 5.30. So they kick out all their Apres Ski crowd where they are making good money so they can fill their 7.30 dinner bookings. Just sad... the staff haven't a clue about hospitality. There is no place in the world this happens. Whose hair brained idea was this.

This trendy little spot offers excellent coffee and delicious food. It's the perfect place to stop for a bite while on the mountain. We tried the chicken rolls and they were delicious. The atmosphere inside is cozy and inviting.

The food was basic and average, nothing special. The service was insanely rude. Defiantly wouldn't be returning in a rush
