Bidra med feedbackWe stayed in Mornas thanks to the GPS that told us to avoid the A7 car route for a few kilometers. We happen every month on the way to the south, it was nice to see the old village. We accidentally parked in front of the manoir and saw that her menu was outside, so we went in. We were thrilled by the quiet and cool courtyard. The waiter put us at a table near the end of the terrace, which by our one-year-old being quite handful, we did not want to disturb other diners. They were kind enough to give us a high chair and to heat up our son's baby food. We enjoyed a three-course meal with fresh ingredients and cooked for perfection. (For me: Assiette de crudités, steak hâché frites, tarte d’abricot; my husband: Salat chèvre chaud, Steak hâché frites, Salat de fruits de season). The Wisteria on the terrace offers shade and beauty, we enjoyed our hour and half a lot. The restaurant respects COVID-19 measures very well: 1) masks, whenever around, 2) unidirectional markings on the ground, 3) hand sanitised stations everywhere, 4) paper menus and wiping menus, 5) contact tracking information (write your name, phone and email details next to date and time). We enjoyed this little interlude on a long drive and come back!
We went to lunch and the food was very bad. The owner is arrogant and it lacks introspection. After half a lunch we had to pay the full bill of 50 euros per person. The owner suggested we go to the Mcdonalds because we don't appreciate the food. Considering the other reviews, this is their standard defense tactics when faced with the bad quality of the place.
A reservation with 3 friends that ended in a 1 meal history. We had the "cintabella" menu with foie grass, calf and as a desert a chocolate dish. The foie grass was simple and not so bad. The main dish was terrible, a calfsal, potatoes and Gravy all probably came microwave. All 3 elements on the plate were not to eat. It is regrettable how a “simple” meal thorougly can be prepared incorrectly. The calves were not freshly frozen) and contained no taste. The potatoes did not taste like potatoes, and the severity was probably made from premade powder OR it was a week old. I could not distinguish the “meat” taste from the severity. We just took a bite from the main course and left before the desert was served after we had the FULL bill with a discussion with the owner who did not share "our" opinion. A restaurant with 38 €, 33 € Add menu 5 foie grass) 3 course menu should put at least one decent meal on the table. On a positive note: the wine a carafe white wine) was good and it should be the only thing you do in this place when you visit. It's the worst lunch experience I had in my life. And would not recommend the reader) to lunch and/or dinner at this place. I would recommend to the owner to listen to your guests and the cook to find passion during cooking.
Hotel- restaurant de charme without charme. Very poor cuisine made in the micro wave. I'm sure there wasn't even a cook in the house.
Very good, tasty food although vegetables were a little sparse. We had the set menu which was excellent value. Waiters were also very attentive.
