Sal's Famous Pizzeria - Mooresville

If I could give a zero star I would, I ordered the cappellini Al pomodoro, hardly any tomato’s, just noodles, but the WORST part was the soup, I have never in my 35 years of living experienced something so awfully made. Pictures for reference, it tasted like watery trash. NEVER AGAIN!

We frequent this place often, because we support small business owners. However, today I brought my entire family in for pizza. The server was awesome. When the pizza came out, it was not cooked all the like we asked and one of the pizzas was made wrong. When the server came to the table, she attempted to correct the pizzas and didn’t even get to say anything, The owner took it upon himself to say he didnt know what to say, he couldn’t cook it anymore. The server tried to say there was supposed to be no black olives, he then yelled at her to give it to them for free, and threw a pot around in the kitchen. We were in shock of the tantrum that he threw. We didn’t ask for anything for free just to fix the pizza that was wrong. The server was embarrassed and apologized. I told my family we were leaving without eating anything. I told the server to charge me for a coke, so I could tip her. She softly said, but you didn’t have a coke. I kindly told her again to charge me for a coke and then tipped her 15 dollars. The last few times we’ve gone in there or ordered to go, it has been really slow, the salads lettuce has been brown and the food hasn’t been anywhere up to par. IT IS SAFE TO SAY, WE WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT RESTAURANT AGAIN! Learn how to run a business sir!

The chicken tasted boiled and then added to the dish, I pushed it to the side and ate the rest of the dish, which was good

I love Sal’s, great service and fanfreakingtastic food! The workers were really nice, and gave amazing service!

I eat at sals almost weekly. They are my favorite place for some good spaghetti and meatballs, but I carried out today and they really let me down. I’ve been going for 8 years. Today was no exception. I ran some errands and picked up lunch for my family. When we got home we had 2 meatballs that were raw. I know it wouldn’t kill us but I have Crohn’s disease. I’m so disappointed and will probably look at another restaurant to start frequenting. It has really gone down hill if they are serving raw meatballs.
