The overall feel and ambience of this place is like a casual Bistro style. Situated inside an old cottage style bungalow, it gives a homey but classy feel with large glass doors and windows, whilst at the same time having a subdued elegance. We loved the food here, and as the name suggests they specialise in smoked meats done to perfection. Their wine list is extensive and well thought out and they will go to extra lengths to do their pairing with your dishes if you ask. Somehow the whole setting - small village, narrow street, cosy cottage, lights and ambience induces a tranquil, generous, indolent mood and you come out satiated. The bill does pour some cold water on your mood, but that should not come as a surprise. This is a fine dining restt, a hidden gem in a small village. All the action and attention is centred on the Mont Tremblant Pedestrian village up the hill, whereas this one is content in its quiet glory. I wish more people patronised this place.
